Production CNC machining services for OEM buyers · milling, turning, drilling, tapping · stainless steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum alloy · first article inspection and CMM reports standard
More than 400 CNC machines run under this roof — milling, turning, drilling and tapping — owned and operated by Waking, not subcontracted. That capacity is what makes batch commitments real: parallel setups for volume orders, dedicated fixtures held between repeat runs, and scheduling that doesn’t depend on renting someone else’s spindle time. Whether the blank is bar stock, plate or a casting from our own foundry, the machining plan is reviewed for your project.
| Equipment | 400+ CNC machines: milling, turning, drilling, tapping |
| Materials | Stainless 304 / 316, carbon steel, alloy steel, aluminum alloy |
| Order type | Production batches, OEM repeat orders, sample-to-volume |
| Blanks | Bar, plate, and castings from our in-house foundry |
| Site | 70,000 m² plant, Qingdao, China |
Every production job starts with first article inspection: machined features verified on our COORD3 and ZEISS SPECTRUM coordinate measuring machines against the drawing, and the sample approved by you before the batch runs. From there the job is repeatability — in-process checks against the locked sample, hardness and roundness verification where the drawing calls for it, and a report set your incoming QA can file, not argue with.
| FAI | First article inspection on every new part |
| CMM | COORD3 + ZEISS SPECTRUM dimensional verification |
| In-process | Checks against the approved sample through the run |
| Extras | Hardness, roundness/profile, metallurgical analysis |
| Reports | Dimensional and material reports per batch |
OEM buyers don’t just buy parts — they buy the confidence that batch fifty will match batch one. That takes discipline this plant is certified for: an ISO 9001 quality system, IATF 16949 for automotive-grade process control, batch traceability from raw material to shipment, and fixtures and programs held for your repeat orders. Tell us the annual quantity and the release pattern, and the quote reflects a production plan, not a guess.
| System | ISO 9001 · IATF 16949 certified |
| Traceability | Batch-level, material cert to final report |
| Repeat orders | Fixtures, programs and inspection plans on file |
| Applications | Machinery, automotive components, pump & valve |
| Export | Packing and documentation for 40+ markets |
A large share of production parts begin life as castings — and machining a casting is its own discipline. Cast datums drift, thin walls spring under clamping, and porosity can hide under the skin until a finishing pass exposes it. Because the foundry is in the same building, our machinists work from the casting engineers’ datum plan, and pressure-critical castings are X-ray screened on our XTH320 system before the cutter ever touches them. If your part is cast-plus-machined, one factory owns the whole chain.
| Advantage | Foundry and CNC floor in one plant |
| Screening | XTH320 X-ray NDT before machining |
| Fixturing | Casting-specific clamping and datum strategy |
| Sealing parts | Leak testing for pressure-containing components |
| Scope | Casting + machining + inspection, one supplier |
Anyone can machine one good part. Production machining is a different job: fixturing that holds dimension across the run, tooling schedules that keep finish consistent, and an inspection plan that catches drift before it reaches your assembly line. That is the work this floor is set up for.
Online machining platforms quote fast — then place your order with a workshop you never see, at a margin you never see. Waking is the workshop. The 400+ machines are on our floor, the programmers and inspectors are on our payroll, and the quote comes from the people who will actually cut your parts. Since 2002 that has meant OEM buyers in 40+ markets get one accountable supplier — with the added option, unique among machine shops, of casting the blank in the same building.
IATF 16949 quality management, environmental and occupational health & safety management certificates.
| What OEM buyers check | Waking (the actual factory) | Machining platforms / brokers |
|---|---|---|
| Who cuts the parts | Our machines, our programmers, our floor | A network workshop you never see |
| Batch-to-batch consistency | Fixtures and programs held for repeats | May be a different shop each order |
| Inspection depth | FAI + twin CMM + full lab on site | Varies by whoever got the job |
| Cast-plus-machined parts | Foundry in the same building | Two vendors, coordinated by you |
| Accountability | One name on the PO and the reports | Platform terms between you and the maker |

Markets we ship batches to
We review functional prototypes, pre-production samples and production batches. For personal one-off hobby parts, we recommend a local machine shop. Our floor is set up for production batches and OEM repeat orders, with tooling and inspection reviewed for the project.
Stainless steel 304 and 316, carbon steel, alloy steel and aluminum alloy — as bar or plate, or as castings poured in our own foundry.
Every new part gets first article inspection on our COORD3 and ZEISS SPECTRUM CMMs, and you approve the sample before the batch runs. In-process checks hold the run to the locked sample, and each batch ships with dimensional and material reports.
A factory. The 400+ CNC machines are on our floor in Qingdao and the people quoting your job are the people running it. No broker margin, no anonymous network workshop.
Yes — that combination is our specialty. The foundry is in the same building, castings are X-ray screened on our XTH320 system before machining, and one supplier owns the finished tolerance.
Fixtures, CNC programs and inspection plans stay on file. Repeat batches run to the approved sample with the same traceability — material certificates and reports issued together, batch after batch.
Send drawings with material, tolerances and batch quantity. Our engineers review machinability and fixturing, then reply with suggestions and a quotation.
Skip the broker layer. Send your drawings to the factory whose machines, inspectors and reports are all under one roof.
